Regal Investments Unites a Consumer Brand and Its Community Token in a First-of-Its-Kind Cross-Fund Strategy
Pup Fuel, a Startup Stars Fund portfolio company, becomes the first candidate to bridge the Startup Stars and Crypto Conquest funds, under a disclosure framework that puts transparency ahead of trading.
New York, NY — October 13, 2026 —
Regal Investments today announced a cross-fund strategy that links two of its funds, the Startup Stars Fund and the Crypto Conquest Fund, by pairing an operating consumer brand with a community token associated with that brand. To the firm's knowledge, no investment fund has previously structured an approach of this kind.
The first company under evaluation for the strategy is Pup Fuel (pupfuel.shop), a food and nutrition brand in which the Startup Stars Fund has invested since January 2026. Pup Fuel is in research and development and is testing its products with early customers. The brand also includes an energy drink line (pupfuel.energy). On October 1, 2026, a community token associated with the Pup Fuel brand, $PUPFUEL, was launched.
The strategy brings together a product with real customers, a community token that extends the reach of the brand, and a fund that works alongside the company as it develops both. It reflects the hands-on approach Regal Investments takes across its portfolio.
Disclosure
Before taking any position in the token, the Regal Investments investment committee reviewed how such a position would be handled, including the conflicts of interest it could create. As of October 13, 2026:
- Neither Regal Investments nor any of its funds holds $PUPFUEL, and none has bought or sold it.
- Fees generated by trading in $PUPFUEL are received by Pup Fuel, not by Regal Investments.
- Any acquisition of the token by Regal Investments or its funds would be made only by decision of its investment committee and would be disclosed publicly.
The strategy is at an early stage. Regal Investments will report on its development as it progresses.
